Amazfit Helio Strap Pro Launched — Two Sensors That Track What Your Smartwatch Can't

Amazfit Helio Strap Pro dual-sensor training system launch 2026

Amazfit just dropped the Helio Strap Pro — a screenless, two-sensor training system for HYROX and hybrid athletes. One sensor sits on your upper arm for accurate heart rate, the other clips to your waist for core motion analysis. Priced at $199.99 globally, India availability expected to follow.

Amazfit just took the wraps off the Helio Strap Pro, and this is not your typical fitness band upgrade. The Pro ditches the single-band approach entirely and ships as a two-sensor system that captures movement data your smartwatch physically cannot.

If you have been following Amazfit's push into the HYROX and functional fitness space, this is the product they have been building towards.

What's in the Box

The Helio Strap Pro is not a single band. It is a kit with two distinct sensors:

  • Helio Core Motion HR — worn on the upper arm, close to the heart. Tracks heart rate with far less interference from gripping, wrist flexion, or equipment contact. Battery lasts up to 11 days.

  • Helio Core Motion Waist — sits at the waist and captures core-body movement, positioning, and stability during training. Goes up to 40 days on a single charge.

You also get a Helio Pro Clip, wristband, armband, and a magnetic charger in the box. No monthly subscription needed for any of this.

Why Two Sensors Instead of One?

Wrist-based trackers handle running and cycling well enough. But during heavy functional movements — sled pushes, farmer's carries, kettlebell swings — your wrist is gripping, flexing, and taking impact. Heart rate readings on most devices go unreliable right when accuracy matters the most.

Moving the HR sensor to the upper arm solves most of that. And the waist sensor adds something entirely different — it tracks how your core stability and movement patterns shift as fatigue builds through a workout. No smartwatch on the market currently does this.

Built Around HYROX

The Helio Strap Pro plugs into the HYROX Race and HYROX Simulation modes available on the Amazfit Balance 3 and Balance Ultra. At launch, one of these watches is required to use the full system — support for more Amazfit watches is planned.

After a session, the Zepp App breaks down your performance station by station across all eight HYROX movements — SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer's carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. You can pinpoint exactly where your movement efficiency dropped and where heart rate spiked relative to the effort.

Recovery, Daily Tracking, and Open Connectivity

No screen means you can wear the Helio Strap Pro round the clock without it looking like a gadget strapped to your arm. It continues tracking sleep, HRV, and recovery even when your smartwatch is charging on the nightstand — so there are no gaps in your data.

The system feeds into Amazfit's HybridCharge Energy Intelligence, which factors in your training load, recovery patterns, and real-world stress like travel and poor sleep to estimate daily readiness.

Heart rate data broadcasts live over Bluetooth 5.2 to third-party sports watches, cycling computers, gym equipment, and training apps. Health data also syncs to Apple Health through the Zepp App.

Price and India Availability

The Helio Strap Pro carries a price tag of $199.99 (roughly ₹17,000) and starts shipping by end of June 2026 in the US through Amazfit.com and select retailers.

India pricing and launch date have not been announced yet. The Helio Strap launched in India at around ₹8,999, so expect an India release to follow once global availability ramps up.

You will need Android 8.0 or above, or iOS 17.0 or above, with the Zepp App installed to use the system.
